|CryptoCoin.com: e-Gulden (EFL)
e-Gulden (EFL), also known as Electronic Gulden, is an open-source, decentralised cryptocurrency forked from Litecoin in March 2014. It is intended as the national cryptocurrency of the Netherlands, bringing back the nostalgic feeling of the times before the country adopted the common European currency. Besides providing a digital payment solution, the project also has advocacy goals, promoting saving over consumption and attempting to preserve scarce natural resources. e-Gulden was heavily pre-mined, with 50% of the total coin supply retained by the e-Guilder Foundation.
