Steps (STEPS) is a decentralised open-source cryptocurrency launched in September 2015 as a fork of Novacoin. It is a pure proof-of-stake (PoS) coin which pays a variable interest rate depending on the amount of "staked" coins; starting from block 60,100 the PoS interest will be set to 1%.
